"Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi" is not Kangana Ranaut's first film as a director? | Hindi movie news

Kangana Ranaut is a multi-talented actress we have in Bollywood. The star of the queen, who is currently shooting in Bhopal for the filming of her next film, Panga, recently traveled to Mumbai to examine the post-production works of her period drama, Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi.

Kangana, who took over the reins of director Krish's film, recently spoke about his experience supervising and monitoring the editing process. She reportedly stated that it was not her first experience supervising editing or even making a film. She apparently made her first film at the age of 23 or 24. It was a 10-minute short film she had shot with an international team. She also stated that it was the direction, writing or editing she had already done in the past.

Later, she adds that if "Manikarnika …" was her first experience as a director, she would have been a deer in the spotlight, because there is so much to do. She would have said she absolutely loved to lead and sit on the set of a movie as it is another level of involvement. She has also written for official films, which makes me a writer of good faith.

Produced by Zee Studios and Kamal Jain, 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', is expected to be released on January 25, 2019.
