The opposition failed to pbad a bill to increase the old-age pension to an equal minimum wage on Wednesday after two deputies from the Zionist Union missed the vote.

The newly elected MP, Robert Tiviaev, who, according to some Knesset MPs, reached a painstaking agreement to cooperate with the coalition, was absent from the vote, as was MP Yehiel Bar, who is attending "a diplomatic mission to China" .
Later, it appeared that Tiviaev had canceled the vote – in violation of the discipline of his faction – with the Minister of Social Equality, Gila Gamliel, who had asked not to vote against the increase in old-age pensions.

"If Tiviaev acts as a team player and according to the positions of the faction, the sanctions imposed on him will be lifted, otherwise they will be reinforced," said Hbadon.
Regarding the absence of Bar during the vote, Hbadon added that the issue would be discussed when the MP returns from China.
