Amazon officially joins the blockchain party

Despite small incursions into the blockchain, Amazon is now officially part of the blockchain after the launch of two new blockchain-oriented services.

Services called Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) and Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB) were announced yesterday at the re: Invent Conference of Amazon, TechCrunch reports.

According to the AMB website, the platform will offer a "fully managed service" that will allow users to easily develop and manage "evolving blockchain networks". It might seem as if everything that was lacking string was missing, but time will tell if it will end or not. to be the case.

The AMB service will use the open source fabric Hyperledger Fabric. Perhaps we should have seen this happen after IBM recently opened its development platform at Amazon Web Services. Ethereum compatibility should be added in the near future.

The Quantum Ledger database, on the other hand, is not strictly a blockchain, it is a component of the AMB card that keeps the history of the data changes made on the AMB board. Amazon also claims that it can scale as needed, adding more capacity, and removing capabilities when it's not being used.

Interested parties may already register to register for AMB and QLDB, but will only be able to preview the system for the time being. Platform customers will only be able to start building their blockchain once their registration has been approved.
