Wondering who Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will choose to be the godfathers of their royal baby? Probably a group of friends and lucky family members, but the first on the list is potentially George and Amal Clooney.

The daily mail reports that the famous couple is "almost confirmed" among the godparents of the baby, with a source close to the Clooneys and The royal family told the magazine: "Amal and Meghan have been close for years and Harry and George have become friends because of that, they are much closer than the headlines."
The source also said that George had "told a couple of people that he had a strong foreboding" that they will be asked to be godfathers.

It is clear that couples are effectively very close, since George and Amal were on the guest list for the royal wedding, and that Meghan and Harry would have visited them at Lake Como shortly after they had been hung up. Of course, we will not officially determine if the Clooneys managed to get cut before the next spring, when the baby royal must arrive!
