New information on the start date
As for the start date, Mark Cerny has not given any specific information. In the interview with Wired, he only stated that the PS5 2019 would not enter the trade. But now, there is also in terms of launch date specific information. As the Wall Street Journal technical journalist, Takashi Mochizuki, reported via Twitter, the Japanese have confirmed that the Playstation 5 will not come in the next 12 months in the trade. Seven years after the PS4
The launch on the market could take place only in the autumn of next year. Then the PS5 would start exactly seven years after the PS4, entered in November 2013 in the trade. Fans need patience. From Sony's point of view, the rather late start date is quite understandable. After all, the current PlayStation continues to sell well.
