The court of first instance in Nazareth on Tuesday extended the provisional detention of two suspects in the murder of Yara Ayoub, 16 years old.
The teenager, originally from the Arab village of Jish in the Upper Galilee, was found dead Monday night near her village, five days after her disappearance.
Police identified the main suspect in the murder as a 28 – year – old man from a village of about 3,000 people. He also faces charges of kidnapping and obstruction of the investigation. The second suspect, 54, would have helped the first after the commission of the crime.

The two suspects saw their pre-trial detention extended on Tuesday until December 5th.
Ayoub's family scheduled his funeral at 10 pm Tuesday in his native village.
"I miss my precious girl," Ayoub's father told Ynet's news site on Monday. "Ask him of her at the village. You will not find anyone who has anything bad to say about it. "
A friend, Karin Issa, told the site that Ayoub "was very good and kind. We all loved it.
The 28-year-old suspect denied the charges against him. In a statement released Monday, his lawyer said the police had linked him to the crime, saying he was the last contact with Ayoub.
"I think that once the investigation is over, he will be released at home," said the lawyer.
Ayoub was last seen on November 21 at 5 pm when she went to a bakery in Jish.
The police did not disclose the details of the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and his death and imposed gagging on much of the investigation.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Sunday that he would chair a new ministerial committee dedicated to combating violence against women and called for "doing much more" to combat the phenomenon in Israel.
After visiting the women's shelter center, Netanyahu went to the office on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. He highlighted the increase in violence against women in Israel in recent years.
