Check out the first official picture of Zac Efron as Ted Bundy
Thanks to the Sundance Film Festival, we get our official look at Zac Efron as Ted Bundy in the next biographical film Extremely nasty, shockingly ugly. The festival posted the photo, stirring the film before its premiere in early 2019, where Collider had noticed it for the first time.
Voltage Pictures and Cota Films produce and Joe Berlinger (Metallica: a kind of monster) directed. The screenplay, which won the Nicholl Fellowship, was blacklisted and written by Michael Werwie.
The film is told through the lens of Elizabeth Kloepfer, Bundy's girlfriend, who denied the Bundy charges for years before handing him over to the police. Just after his execution, when Bundy started talking about his serious and heinous murders, did Kloepfer and the rest of the world understand the true magnitude of his many serious crimes. Lily Collins and Kloepfer, Kaya Scodelario, Bundy's former wife, Carole Anne Boone, Jim Parsons, Lawyer Larry Simpson, John Malkovich, Judge Edward Cowart and Haley Joel Osment, join at Efron.
