Délia to prosecute the Attorney General about the non-publication of the full investigation on Egrant

The Leader of the Opposition will prosecute the Attorney General after he failed to hand him a full copy of the Egrant Magisterial Inquiry.

Adrian Delia had already filed a legal protest against the AG earlier in the week, giving him 24 hours to provide the full report.

But the protest runs up against silence, prompting the nationalist party to accuse it of creating a political imbalance since the government was in possession of a copy.

"With each pbading day, we see an imbalance in favor of the government and the Labor Party," said PN's statement.

The AG's decision not to relay the investigation of Magistrate Aaron Bugeja was unjustified and went against the national interest and transparency.

Joseph Muscat said that he intended to publish the entire investigation, ensuring that its publication does not infringe on the privacy of third parties, hinder investigations and possible prosecutions.

The magistrate's investigation found no connection between Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, his wife Michelle or their family in the secret society of Panama Egrant Inc.
