Baby Driver star Eiza Gonzalez joined Universal's "Fast and Furious" Hobbs and Shaw with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.
The role was a last-minute addition, and sources say that the directors preferred Gonzalez, but that planning should be done with "Godzilla vs. Kong 'from Legendary, who presents Gonzalez and is about to start shooting.
Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby are also in the game under David Leitch. The architect of "Fast and Furious", Chris Morgan, wrote the screenplay.
The film will see badociate the couple, often opposed. We do not know who Gonzalez will play.
Since arriving in the fifth installment of the franchise, Universal has been trying to find a way to transform Johnson's Hobbs character given his popularity with fans. Gonzalez has been booming since his breakthrough in Sony's "Baby Driver" and has a handful of upcoming projects that should be skewed next year, starting with Robert Zemeckis's film "Welcome to Marwen" , which will debut at Christmas. She continues with the movie Fox "Alita: Battle Angel" and "Paradise Hills", which has just arrived at Sundance.
She recently completed the production of the Sony project "Bloodshot" and is also badociated with the movie "Kung Fury".
