The 2019 Eurovision host broadcaster, KAN, is working round the clock gearing up for the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

The City of Tel Aviv and Israeli national broadcaster KAN / IPBC are working on a show of excellence in Eurovision lands in Tel Aviv next May.

The slogan

Last week, the slogan for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was unveiled in Tel Aviv: Dare to Dream. Choosing the slogan for the Eurovision Song Contest is a central aspect of the competition every year, and the slogan itself is an inspiration for the creation of the visual language, the stage design, the performance and the concept of the postcards. The first time the slogan was used in the Eurovision Song Contest was in 2002, when Estonia thing the slogan A Modern Fairytale.

The 2019 Israeli Eurovision representative

The 2019 Israeli Eurovision representative who will defend the country in Tel Aviv will be determined by February. There's a lot of anticipation in Israel on who will follow Netta'S footsteps at the Eurovision Song Contest.

In the 2019 the Israeli radio and television audience will be involved in the selection of the 2019 Israeli Eurovision representative, a special show that will be broadcast on KAN will determine the 2019 Israeli Eurovision hopeful. Next year Israel competes directly in the Grand Final along with the BIG 5 countries.

The song that will represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest will be selected in a special show that will be aired on KAN.

The Eurovision Village

Charles Clore Park will house the Eurovision Village

The Eurovision Village is one of the iconic hot spots of the Eurovision Song Contest weeks. The Eurovison Village is open to the general public, Eurovision fans, locals and tourists and invites everyone to partake in the celebration of music. You can enjoy various events, local music shows and taste delicacies at the Eurovision Village.

Tea City of Tel Aviv is planning to build one of the largest and most impressive Eurovision Song Contest in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The 2019 Eurovision Village will be the heart and soul of the competition in Tel Aviv and will serve as the main hub for celebrations for the circa 20,000 Eurovision fans and Israelis who are expected to land in the city come May.

The village will be located at Charles Clore Park on the seashore in Tel Aviv and will consist of seven complexes and will include performances, DJs, sports, yoga, Israeli food stalls, games, shows etc.

Simultaneously sponsors will be set up for competition with lots of fun and games along with the official souvenir stands. The highlight of the Eurovision Village will be broadcast live from the 3 Eurovision 2019 live shows (semifinals and Grand Final) on large screens. Many stars Eurovision stars and the 2019 Eurovision acts will be performing at the Eurovision Village.

White Night in Tel Aviv

In addition to the Eurovision Village, the City of Tel Aviv plans to advance the White Night events for the night after the Second Semifinal (16 May). Tel Aviv's streets will be holding a special party and concerts throughout the night. The plan is to build around 40 internships throughout the city, dedicating a special internship to each of the participating countries.

Ticket Sales

Information on the 2019 Eurovision ticket sales is expected to be released by the end of 2018.

Reveal Theme Art

KAN plans to reveal the logo and theme art along with its graphics for ESC 2019 by the end of January

Host Insignia Handover Ceremony Semi- Final Allocation Draw

The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest Host Insignia Handover Ceremony and the Semi-final Allocation Draw will be held in Tel Aviv's form City Hall, Beit Ha'Ir , by the end of January.

Heads of Delegation Meeting

In March, the Head of Delegations will be held in Tel Aviv, where the heads of the delegations of the 2019 ESC participating countries will present their respective portfolios, including their participation along with details and information on their performance and staging.

The heads of delegation will also have a chance to check out the 2019 Eurovision official and visit the ESC related locations during their 2 day meeting.

Semifinal Running Order

Host broadcaster KAN will be determining the running order of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals by the end of March.

Internship Construction

Construction of the 2019 Eurovision Internship at the Tel Aviv Convention Center will kick off when the KAN, EBU and the construction stage company move into the Pavillions in order to build the stage and accommodate the show. This will include the construction of the Bubble Delegation, Press Center and Green Room besides the construction of the 2019 Eurovision stage.

Arrival of Delegations

The first delegations will start arriving in Tel Aviv by the end of April. The 2019 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 14, 16 and May 18 at the Tel Aviv Convention Center in Tel Aviv.
