Fintech start-up launches Bitcoin payment feature

The Canadian-based mobile payment company, Glance Technologies Inc., has added Bitcoin support (BTC) as a payment method, according to a press release published on November 29.

The new version of the company says that the new feature, called "Pay With Bitcoin," allows users to "badociate their crypto-currency wallet to their Glance Pay account, then buy Glance dollars with Bitcoin ". Canada's largest jewelery manufacturer and retailer, the Birks Group, has also recently begun accepting Bitcoin through a partnership with the American BitPay crypto payment processor.

Earlier this week, CT announced that the US state of Ohio was about to become the first state to accept Bitcoin payment through taxes, also via BitPay. The option will only be available for businesses initially and will eventually open to individual registrants.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $ 4,278, an increase of less than 24% in the past 24 hours.
