Another wave of acts is announced – surf!
Florence + The Machine will be at the forefront of next year's Boardmasters Festival.
The Cornwall Music and Surf Festival will also feature performances by Giggs, Franz Ferdinand, Dizzee Rascal, Jorja Smith, Wilkinson b2b Sub Focus, DJ EZ, IDLES, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Lewis Capaldi, Pete Murray and Lady Leshurr.
Boardmasters 2019 runs from Wednesday 7th to Sunday 11th August. Tickets are available via the website with a deposit of £ 30.
Florence the machine
Florence + the Machine has released its fourth album, 'High As Hope', this year.
In a three-star review, NME Andrew Trendell wrote: "Without excess, Flo's truth shines through in album number 4, sure but subtle."
Last year, the festival featured unmatched performances by Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Chemical Brothers and George Ezra.
NME described the event as "a breathtaking view of the sea and an eclectic mic of indie, dance, dubstep, rap and soul," highlighting the "dazzling show" of Years & Years, with the leader, Olly Alexander, who pursues: the most likeable and talented pop stars. "
The festival takes place on Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay in Newquay.
