The funeral processions began as Shreitah’s body arrived to the village, the body was carried on shoulders of the residents for about four kilometers towards his home, where final goodbyes were said before prayers took place at the village’s local mosque and then burial at the village’s cemetery.
It is noteworthy that violent clashes erupt on a weekly basis among Palestinians and Israeli forces due to planned confiscation of lands, which belong to the residents of the al-Mazraa al-Gharbiyeh village, as part of an illegal Israeli settlement expansion plan.
