Air sirens sounded in Holit, Nir Yitzhak and Sufa under the jurisdiction of Eshkol Regional Council at the Gaza border on Saturday as Hamas fired rockets on southern Israel.
Further air sirens were heard earlier in Eshkol Regional Council, Ein Habesor, Magen and Nir Oz.
Earlier on Friday evening, 16 rockets were fired from Gaza. Twelve were intercepted by the Iron Dome system and others landed in open fields. No injuries or damage were reported.
