Harman International Industries, Samsung's audio and audio technology subsidiary, has transferred all of its Israeli badets to a unique 46,000 sqm building in the heart of the Israeli city of Hod HaSharon. Harman President and CEO Dinesh C. Paliwal inaugurated the new building on Monday.

Calcalist first announced its move for Harman in May, saying the company had rented the building for seven years and planned to renovate before the move.

The new building will house teams from three Israeli startups, acquired by Harman: the developer of iOnRoad Ltd. piloting applications, acquired in 2013; Red Bend Software Inc., a mobile software company acquired in 2015; and the automotive cybersecurity company TowerSec Inc., acquired in 2016. The new building will feature a smart automotive laboratory, where technologies can be tested in "real world conditions," the company said.

According to Oren Betzaleli, Harman's Country Manager for Israel, the company is currently seeking to hire additional staff in the country.
