ATLANTA (AP) – The Atlanta Braves have acquired left-handed reliever Jonny Venters from the Tampa Bay Rays for an international roster slot. The Rays announced Thursday night's 4-3 win over the Orioles. Venters has pitched in 22 games this year in his first major league season since 2012. That was the last of his three years with the Braves.


GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) – Six Florida football players are facing university disciplinary action following an on-campus altercation that included the brandishing of Airsoft guns that resembled badault rifles.
