For anyone hoping that Hugh Jackman's "big announcement" on Thursday morning would somehow be related to Wolverine, get ready to be disappointed because the news has nothing to do with retaliation for its iconic role in Marvel Comics.
According to Variety, Jackman takes The show of today Thursday morning to announce a resumption of his men's show. His performance will take him through various US cities, although the stages have not yet been unveiled.
To launch the film and promote the show, Jackman will perform two of his songs from The biggest showman during his performance Today Show.
Although it is not clear exactly which wires will appear on Jackman's set list at the beginning of the tour, Variety reports that many of them will come from musicals to which he is already badociated. Expect to see the show numbers as Oklahoma!, Wretched, and The boy of Oz on the range, as well as some songs from The Greatest Showman.
