The 19-year-old victim, who was brutally murdered in a Jerusalem forest on Thursday night, was identified as Ori Ansbacher.
Ansbacher, whose family lives in Tekoa, resided in Jerusalem in an apartment that she rented with several friends. She served in a national civilian service program instead of military service.
The Tekoa native was found Thursday night in Ein Yael Forest, near the Jerusalem Bible Zoo, after being reported missing at 11 am that morning. His remains were found naked, with signs of extreme violence. She was declared dead on the scene.
Ansbacher will be buried at 1:30 pm. Friday afternoon at the Tekoa cemetery.
