The IDF spokesman announced on Tuesday that it had launched an operational investigation into botched operations in Khan Yunis (Gaza), during which 41-year-old Lieutenant-Colonel MM had been killed.
It was also reported that General Gadi Eisenkot, Chief of Staff of the IDF, had appointed Major-General Nitzan Alon to lead the investigation and the presentation of his findings in the weeks to come.
