Indians traveling to Israel increase by 82%

New Delhi, July 12: Israel recorded a record of Indian tourist arrivals with 82% growth in six months, from January to June 2018. Up to 40,300 Indian tourists visited Israel during this period, data published by Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) showed. Israel also witnessed 17,800 Indian arrivals with a 115% increase in May compared to 8,300 in May 2015.

Hbadan Madah, director of Israel's Ministry of Tourism in India and the Philippines, said: "We have been Witnesses "India has been an important market for us and I am delighted to say that it has been one of the most successful markets in Asia, especially until June of this year.
