JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts just announced the opening of JW Marriott Maldives planned in the fourth quarter of 2018, marking the expansion of the brand in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing to 40 the number hotels and resorts in the area. Vagaru Island, Shaviyani Atoll, JW Marriott Maldives will be ideal for leisure travelers. The resort has 61 villas on the beach and on the water, each with its own private pool and other modern amenities. Culinary options in the resort's multiple F & B rooms include the all-day Kaage Restaurant serving culinary delights from around the world with the Wine Room; Raha – offering the freshest Italian ingredients; Rum Bar & Kitchen with Thai tapas street food; Farumas the delicacies of Japanese Teppanyaki both below and above the water line; and Lonu offering the luxury of crustaceans and premium grain-fed cuts.

The property will also feature Spa by JW, which offers tailor-made treatments and a range of clbadic spa rituals, with a Royal Care Suite and six treatment rooms. Additional spa facilities include a unibad lounge, a yoga pavilion and a gym. In addition, the resort's brand concept is JW's Kid's Club, which will include play areas, an arts and crafts space, individual reading and sleeping corners, a Fauna and Flora educational corner and a server. with healthy and wholesome foods.
