Kate met William in 2001 while they were both students at the University of St Andrews. The couple began dating in 2003 and was married in 2011 during a high level service to Westminster Abbey. In court, Kate gave William the nickname "Big Willy" according to The Sun.
However, the newspaper claims more recently that Kate started calling William "baldy", in reference to the rapid fall of her hair.
In return, Prince William began to talk about his wife "DoD", abbreviated "Duchess of Dolittle".
The royal family is renowned for its love of nicknames.
Sending to the Sun, an insider from Buckingham Palace said, "The members of the royal family are not very good at communicating with each other, so it's a way to get around the problem.

"Nicknames are a way of relieving family stress.
"They can also be a rather childish family. They love to play games and make stupid gifts. "
During her pregnancy, Kate affectionately called the future Prince George "our little grapes".
After his birth, this changed to PG, then PG Tips in reference to tea, according to The Sun.
William and Kate are aged from 2003 to 2007, when they briefly separated on vacation.

The couple is reconciled later in the year and is engaged to a visit to Kenya in 2010.
More than 300 million people worldwide, including 26 million in the UK, attended their wedding in 2011.
In July 2013, Prince George, the couple's first child, was born at St Mary's Hospital in London.
Kate gave birth to Princess Charlotte in May 2015 and Prince Louis in April 2018.
