Adnan's health has seriously deteriorated after she stopped taking supplements that allowed her to survive for a long time. He started to experience severe symptoms such as vomiting blood.

Adnan, 40, from Arrabeh village in the West Bank, told his lawyers and his visitors that he had started a hunger strike to obtain his freedom.

Since the beginning of his strike, Adnan has been subjected to abusive measures. He was isolated, transferred from one detention center to another, deprived of visits and imprisoned in harsh conditions of detention.

Adnan's first hunger strike against his detention dates back to 2012, when his strike lasted 66 days to protest his administrative detention without charge or trial, as well as in 2015 with a length of 54 days. days. During both strikes, he was able to shorten his detention and regain his freedom.

He is married with seven children, the eldest is 10 years old and the youngest, Maryam, is 18 months old.
