Netflix commissioned two more seasons from the Greenhouse Academy Academy of Nutz Productions . The original series of real action is based on Nutz's show Israel Israel The Greenhouse and the remake marks the first time that an original Israeli series was acquired by the global SVOD giant.
Productions will produce the new episodes for seasons three and four in Israel over the next year, which will be adapted by the creator of the series Giora Chamizer and Janae Bakken ( Anger Management, Malcolm in the middle, Scrubs ). Chamizer will also serve as a showrunner, while Amir Mann ( Fauda 2 ) will direct the forthcoming episodes
The series follows a group of students in a boarding school. elite in Southern California as they band together to thwart an evil plot.
Nutz Productions is the production arm of Israeli content, production and distribution company Ananey Communications Group. The Israeli prodco Keshet International holds the international distribution rights of the series, excluding the Netflix deal.
