Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen
Billy Joel played the 100th performance of his Madison Square Garden residency on Wednesday night. Celebrating a memorable occasion is best with a friend, so Billy has brought one of his – Bruce Springsteen.
Both legends celebrated their success with an interpretation of Springsteen's "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" – Joel at the piano, the piano, sitting on the big instrument with a microphone to his lips as a salon sister. Springsteen then took a guitar and the friends gathered in a performance of "Born to Run".
Joel's monthly commitment to the Garden, which has made him the greatest repeater of all time, will continue in December. The friendship of Joel and Springsteen is destined to continue in eternity.
