BoyzoneShane Lynch accused the Late show bosses to try to take the group "ankle or two" by showing this infamous clip of their first appearance on the cat.
The 42-year-old joined the rest of his team-mates for an appearance at the Late show Friday night, where he made headlines across the country after swearing and turning off the camera when he saw the sequence.
When Ryan Tubridy asked the group what was the story behind the clip, the singer replied:
"Here's the story behind this clip – I broke my bullshit to get here … do you see this clip – you can sneak into your hole.
"That's what you could do with our clip."
Ryan tried to say that it was just "a little fun", but Lynch turned off the camera and said, "No, I'm not doing f ** k."
Lynch talked about the controversy during an appearance on "The Niall Boylan Show" on Clbadic Hits on Monday. He stated that he was "disappointed" that the broadcaster had attempted to "demolish" the group.
He added:
"It's like the first time I'm dyslexic, I decided to write a story and write my story.What I consider to be a very good story and you have a teacher who closes you and tells you that it not enough.
"So, 25 years later, in Boyzone, I arrive in this TV studio called RTÉ – in which we belong to the past, we have been there for a long time – and they decide from the beginning to try to we train in a hair like we do not need this stuff.
"In the end, I was disappointed that we were very young, very innocent and that we had continued to do incredible things.What you want to do is shoot us down? say what everyone tried to cut me off, I cut them off and told them I did not like it. "
Lynch also stated that he loved Ryan Tubridy and that he regretted that some people were offended by what he had said.
