When the 22-year-old American photographer Blake Wood settles in London after a breakup in 2007, a mutual friend introduces him to Amy Winehouse.
After winning five Grammy Awards for his 2006 album Back Black the famous singer with a sensual and raw voice lived up to his celebrity, but struggling with his capricious partner and the exam of constant attention of the media. Jumping on their relationship problems, Wood and Winehouse developed an intimate friendship and became inseparable for the next two years.
