Important to remember with #Orioles : Any agreement in place is tentative based on medical examinations. These exams have scuttled O's business in the past, possibly including Britton at HOU last year. A reduced participation of Peter Angelos could make the standards of the team less strict; hard to say.

If the Dodgers complete the Machado deal (and that they lead), they could move Taylor to 2B, Muncy to 1B and Bellinger to the next. OF stacked. It would be quite a range. Also, if the top of prospect Yusniel Diaz is in the bargain, their miserly prospect looks out the window.

Momentum had built an agreement to send Machado from the Baltimore Orioles to the Philadelphia Phillies, with a report indicating a trade was "very close."
This report also states that the Yankees seem to faint in Machado's draws.
Machado would be an interesting fit for the Yankees. He would probably be asked to play on third base, where he won two Gold Gloves
. General Manager Brian Cashman should then watch rookie Miguel Andujar on first base. Or he could return Andujar for a starting pitcher, who is the biggest need of the team.
Even if the Phillies do not get Machado before the July 31 deadline, expect to be a player when the 26-year-old
