As wildfires continue to ravage California, a number of celebrities are sharing their own first-hand experiences.
Between the Hill fire, the Woolsey fire and the state’s deadliest ever blaze, the Camp fire, entire towns have been engulfed by the flames and hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes. Several of the 31 casualties so far were killed in their cars as they tried to leave.
Amongst celebrities that have lost their homes in the still-blazing fires are Neil Young, Gerard Butler, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke.
Young posted a message to his online archives website, blaming the fires on climate change despite Donald Trump’s insensitive declaration that the fires were caused by poor forest management and thus don’t warrant additional federal funding in the wake of an emergency.

Stars of the HGTV show Rustic Rehab, which renovates home in the now destroyed town of Paradise, have also shared their accounts of the fires. Chenoa Rivera posted a shocking photo, along with an update on her family. They also encouraged those who are able to donate to the fire relief effort.
The Paramount Ranch, where Westworld was largely filmed, was also destroyed by the Woolsey fire.

Others famous figures like Flea, Lady Gaga, Alyssa Milano and Orlando Bloom have evacuated, and remain unsure of the status of their properties.
