Last month, Netflix announced two "defenders"The series produced with Marvel and Netflix has ended and now she pulls the spindle Daredevil as well. Season 3 started just a few weeks ago with Charlie Cox in the blind hero roles that protects Hell's Kitchen, but that's all – for now. In a statement, Netflix said: "We are grateful to our Marvel partners, showrunner Erik Oleson, the show's writers, a fantastic team, and an outstanding cast including Charlie Cox as Daredevil himself and we thank the fans who have supported the series over the years. While the series on Netflix is over, the three existing seasons will remain in service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live in future projects for Marvel. "
While Disney has accelerated the development of its Disney + service, the two parties have not been able to conclude agreements to continue these series. Nevertheless, it is possible that Disney can turn around and introduce something for his network now. Meanwhile, Netflix is spending money in other areas, although once Disney + is launched in 2019, it will be interesting to see how it responds.
Daredevil was the first Marvel / Netflix show to enter the service in 2015, and now only Jessica Jones and The punisher are left. Hopefully we'll still have some fight scenes in the hallways before an (apparently) inevitable end also happens to them.
