(IDEX Online) – Trend Editor IJL and Jewelry Expert, Paola De Luca, Will Describe Six Key Trends in Jewelry Themes for Spring -Summer 2019 at International Jewelery London (IJL), the UK's leading trade event for the international jewelery industry.
His vision includes concepts rooted in urban lifestyles, the rebirth of pearls, A mix of Art Deco and Art Op themes from the 1960s, according to a statement. They will be featured on IJL's SS19 Trends Catwalk where Paola will present her detailed forecast (2-4 September 2018).
Trends, from IJL Trends Editor and International Jewelry Futologist, Paola de Luca are:
• Industrial Core; inspired by urban lifestyles, architecture and redefined industrial materials.
• I am perfection. playing on proportions that create surreal optical illusions with geometric shapes and patchwork.
• Neoclbadical; clbadical drawings with a twist.
• Dark Romantic; Inspiring dark forests, magic and mysticism.
• Op-Coding; a mix between the 1920s Art Deco style and the Optical art of the 1960s
• Collective Constellation; Stars, moons, planets, flying saucers and constellations will all be captured in sparkling diamonds, especially fancy cuts and shapes.
IJL will include an expanded event program, and present the latest ranges of more than 550 high-end and finished jewelery manufacturers, as well as gemstones and retail service providers, the statement adds.
