DENVER – One of Broncos' brothers, Pat Bowlen, filed a lawsuit in the Colorado District Court on Thursday to remove the trust of three people who control the team.
Bill Bowlen's record at the Arapahoe County District Court makes the application "because of his inability to respect the wishes of Pat Bowlen and act in the best interests of Pat Bowlen, of his family and the Broncos, "according to the report.
Pat Bowlen has fought against Alzheimer's disease. He moved away from his daily Broncos operation in 2014.
Since then, Broncos President and CEO Joe Ellis, Richard Slivka and Mary Kelly, are the trustees who control the team.

Ellis is the resource person for the team. She represents the Broncos at team meetings and is responsible for day-to-day operations.
"I've been a big fan of the Broncos for decades, but unfortunately for the last 15 years, I've noticed that the Broncos' operation has deteriorated, while my brother's health has deteriorated." said Bowlen in a statement. Release.
"I am really concerned about these directors, their conduct and the way they have accessed the positions they are in. They have little or no responsibility to anyone except themselves.
"They did not comply with the NFL rules and I'm not comfortable with the way they handled my brother's business, I know what his wishes were, and they certainly do not follow them. . "

"While we are currently reviewing this case, we know that the lawyer who is filing this complaint on behalf of Bill Bowlen is the same as the one representing Beth Bowlen Wallace.
"The directors will continue to execute Pat Bowlen's long-standing succession plan for the Denver Broncos in accordance with all NFL ownership policies."
Bill Bowlen accuses the trust of not implementing a long-term succession strategy established by his brother in order to ensure that one of Pat Bowlen's children retains control of the team.
The filing accuses the directors of delaying the children of Pat Bowlen to take control of the team "in violation of their fiduciary duties."
Bill Bowlen is seeking to remove the directors and to appoint an independent person responsible for the preservation of Pat Bowlen's estate.
Two of Pat Bowlen's children expressed interest in taking control of the team.
In May, Beth Bowlen-Wallace publicly stated that she wanted to succeed her father, but confidence quickly responded by saying that she "was neither capable nor skilled at the moment".
Last week, Brittany Bowlen, 28, said she had "ambitions and goals: to become one day the main owner of the Denver Broncos".
