Performa appoints Kathy Noble as curator and conservation affairs manager

Performa, the New York-based non-profit organization, announced that Kathy Noble will join the organization as curator and curatorial affairs director. She will be responsible for the performance of Performa's curatorial program, including its biennial and other events.

"Performa has provided me with some of the deepest and most enjoyable artistic experiences of my life to date," said Noble Artnews . "Performa's way of working with artists and with New York is unique, and I'm excited to develop a new work that connects with the communities in the city."

Noble was previously curator at Tate Modern in London. specialized in the media based on performance and time; as curator at the Wysing Arts Center in Cambridge, England; and as curator of the Nottingham Contemporary exhibitions. She has also organized the first Art Night at the London Institute of Contemporary Art in 2016 and has written for numerous publications such as Artforum Frieze and Moss . [19659002]
