Following a stabbing attack on four police officers at the entrance to the Oz Police Station in Jerusalem’s Armon Hanatziv, five family members of the terrorist who committed the attack were detained for questioning.

Police units raided the terrorist’s house and conducted arrests on Thursday morning, hours after the attacker climbed the fence of the police station and attacked a 50-year-old border policeman standing at the entrance.

A border policewoman standing nearby shot at the terrorist and neutralized him, but lightly injured another policeman in the process.

The terrorist, a man in his 20s, was seriously wounded and evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

Additional officers involved in the struggle with the terrorist suffered minor injuries.
