Samsung's high-end features will shift to phones before, as Samsung's next clamshell phone will be equipped with two cameras as of the launch date.

Code called "Project Lykan", the next Samsung W2019 clamshell phone is equipped with a dual camera configuration at the back. This will mark the second time Samsung has added a flagship feature to a flip phone, following the W2018's variable aperture camera.

The specifications of the W2019 should follow in the footsteps of its predecessors in Samsung's W series, which means that the phone will likely have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space.

Despite being in a niche and dated phone category, the Samsung W2018 flip phone cost about 15,999 Chinese yuan last year, equal to 122,500 pesos, in Filipino pesos.
