Saudi Arabia has chosen to ban many video games because of the tragic death of two children. We have seen Saints Row IV banned in the past in Australia as well as Saints Row: The Third in the United Arab Emirates. Unfortunately, Saints Row IV is now banned from Saudi Arabia
. A 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy committed suicide after playing the Blue Whale social media game. Blue Whale is a challenge in which players complete a series of tasks that end in suicide. The Saudi government has decided to ban a list of 47 video games because of this tragic event. They claimed that these games violated the rules and regulations, although they did not specify which rules and regulations they referred to.
Unfortunately, Saints Row IV has failed to avoid another ban. Knowing his badual and violent content, we can badume that it was an inevitable situation. However, without knowing the specific reason for its prohibition, we can only make badumptions.
