Israeli settlers on Saturday slaughtered hundreds of successful Palestinian-owned vineyards in the city of al-Khader, in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, said a local activist.
Ahmad Salah, coordinator of the Anti-The Settlement Committee of the city, told WAFA correspondence that Israeli settlers have shot down about 200 fruitful vineyards located next to two illegal Israeli settlements; Efrat and Eliezer
He said that Israeli forces had recently stepped up their measures against the inhabitants of the city, as a prelude to taking possession of the land in favor of the expansion of the settlements.
Extremist settlers invaded Khader, cutting at least 350 vines near the illegal Daniel settlement, built on Palestinian land.
