Stephen Colbert launches the holiday season in the same way, it seems, as he knows how to do today – taking pictures of President Donald Trump.
During the Wednesday episode of The show late, the host welcomed the viewers after a Thanksgiving break by performing a Trump inspired cover of "Santa Claus Is Comin 'to Town".
Colbert explained that this political song, nicknamed "Mueller Claus Is Comin" to Town, "was intended to send a message to the President on what was awaiting him while Robert Mueller's Special Council inquiry on the Russia was moving up a gear.
"He sees you when you tweet, he knows that your hair is wrong," sang Colbert. "He knows when you have been bad or bad because you are bad for the sake of good, you are bad!"
Colbert then went into a detailed badysis of the controversy surrounding former Trump campaign president Paul Manafort.
