An Israeli teenager was found dead in a dumpster in northern Israel, three days after his disappearance.
Police found the remains of Yara Ayoub, 16, in a dumpster Monday afternoon after her family reported her disappearance.
"The missing person, Yara Ayoub, 16, was found without any sign of life by Israeli police," said Israeli police on Monday.
"As part of the investigation into the incident, two suspects have been arrested so far and the investigation is still ongoing."
Police suspect Ayoub of being kidnapped and then murdered.
The two suspects detained following the death of Ayoub were identified as a 28-year-old resident of Jish, who is believed to be the abductor, and a 53-year-old man also suspected of being involved in the disappearance of the girl. .
Ayoub, an Arab Christian resident of Jish city in Galilee (also known as Gush Halav), disappeared Friday after leaving home to go to a friend's birthday party. Relatives say that she was last seen at a bakery in Jish.
"She was going to her friend's birthday and stopped at the bakery to buy something, and then we lost touch with her. On Monday, they told us that his body had been found, "said Yara's father, Nashat Ayoub, according to Yediot Ahronot.

A second teenager was also found murdered on Monday, this time in Tel Aviv.
The second victim was Silvana Tsegai, a 13-year-old Eritrean national living in Tel Aviv.
Police are currently searching for the alleged murderer of this girl, Tesfabran Tesfatsion. Tesfatsion was identified as the former boyfriend of Tsegai's mother.
