NABI SALEH – A West Bank village is preparing for the release of Palestinian provocateur Ahed Tamimi from an Israeli jail, leafing out posters of her and setting up hundreds of chairs for sympathizers.
The 17-year-old man was arrested in December after slapping two Israeli soldiers. She must be released Sunday, with her mother.
Her father Bbadem said Saturday that "we are waiting for her that she leads" in the fight against Israel. He says that she graduated high school with the help of her fellow prisoners and plans to go to college.
On Saturday, an activist said that two Italian artists who had painted a large mural of Ahed Tamimi on the Israeli separation barrier had been arrested by Israel.
