[NATIONS UNIES] – The UN Security Council on Friday imposed an arms embargo on South Sudan, nearly five years after the outbreak of the country's civil war.

Nine countries voted in favor of one resolution China, Ethiopia, Bolivia, Equatorial Guinea and Kazakhstan abstained. Ethiopia said the timing was not appropriate given attempts to revitalize the peace process.
