What is the Quantum Kingdom?

The Quantum Kingdom is an Alternative Dimension Where the Laws Usually Governing Time and Space Cease to Exist Discovered for the first time by scientist Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), he realizes that the quantum realm is accessible using Pym particles to shrink objects at a subatomic level.

In 1987, Hank's wife, Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) sacrificed her life by turning off her regulator and narrowing to a subatomic level in order to neutralize a Soviet nuclear missile.
