A table, ladder and triple threat chairs for the Women's SmackDown Championship are ready for the WWE TLC.
Becky Lynch will defend her title against Charlotte Flair and Asuka in the TLC match. This was confirmed during the episode of Tonight's SmackDown, with Asuka added to the match by winning a royal battle.
Lynch returned to WWE television tonight for the first time since the TV show Survivor Series, where she was removed from her match against Ronda Rousey due to injury. She said that she was going back to the game and called Charlotte in the ring. Lynch said Rousey would not have been able to walk the next night if she had faced Lynch at Survivor Series.
Lynch said that Charlotte had gone from the copy of her old man to the copy of "The Man". Charlotte called Lynch delusional and said that Lynch copied Ric Flair and still managed to ride Charlotte. Charlotte said that she was not fighting for Lynch at Survivor Series, she was fighting for herself and because Lynch could not.
The story led Paige to initially announce Lynch against Charlotte for TLC because she had not seen any other challenger in the division with the same desire as Charlotte. Paige was interrupted by the rest of the women's division and then decided to fight for Royal's main event this week to determine who would be added to the title match for TLC.
Asuka, Naomi, Carmella, Lana, Mandy Rose, Deville Sonya, Zelina Vega, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were in the royal battle. Asuka won by eliminating Deville.
TLC will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on December 16th.
