Geno here. It is the hour of the series, baby.

Mahalicia vs Hawkins & Moon

The commentary of the story obviously hammered the fact that Curt Hawkins had not won a match for years and the late change of Braun Strowman. Will the series of historic losses finally end in a mixed team match?

"This could arguably be the best chance for Curt Hawkins," said Vic Joseph. Renee Young went on to argue that it could very well lead to Hawkins getting a WrestleMania moment, which was enough to scare Michael Cole.

Hawkins is bad, understood?

He was so worried that he really wanted Moon to stay in the game. To the point that when Foxy added the tag to Mahal, Hawkins campaigned for Ember to stay inside and simply throw Jinder's hand. It was quickly obvious why because Mahal controlled the action for a long time. In the end, Hawkins made a label to bring back Moon. When he did, she was completely mad about Fox, including a couple near Fall. Then she touched the Eclipse, but before leaving, Hawkins tagged himself to try to corner Fox.

He was so desperate for a victory.

Of course, that's not how the rules of this tournament work, and he was not allowed to win as well. Instead, Mahal ran back, hit the Khalla and pinned the pin.

Dominant country against B'n'B

They did the usual pre-game stance, with Bobby Lashley posing and Lio Rush boring and all that jazz. The match started with Mickie James and Bayley, who took turns until they both jumped to mark their respective partners. Lashley took control and was dominant as James took Bayley off the apron so Balor could not connect. It only lasted a long time, however, and he finally understood it. It was his turn to come in and run wild.

She had the advantage for a while, but James came back. When Bayley dubbed her one more time and it seemed like she was going to win, Lio Rush stepped in. That brought Finn back and he invited the guys to give Bayley time to hit Bayley-to-Belly on James to score the goal and win.
