Two dresses are better than one!
Issa Rae married her fiancé Louis Diame on Sunday in an intimate ceremony in the breathtaking setting of the south of France.
And the “Insecure” actress, 36, stunned in a Vera Wang Haute dress duo for her big day.
Her formal gown featured a sweetheart neckline and hand-sewn crystal beading, with Chantilly lace adorning the strapless bodice.
Rae paired the dress with a chapel-length veil adorned with the same lace.
For the reception, the star stepped out in a plunging V-neck dress with a white silk crepe bodice and a layered tulle skirt with a dramatic front slit.
The lady of the hour paired her custom prom dresses with silver heels and a curly ponytail.
The groom opted for a Dolce & Gabbana suit in red velvet with black lace accents.
Rae shared photos from the wedding on Instagram on Monday morning, with a comedic caption to mark the special occasion.
“A) Impromptu photoshoot in a custom @verawang dress. B) My daughters came to help me, but they all had the same dress by chance! They were so embarrassed. C) Then I did some movies with Somebody’s Husband, ”she joked.
The co-stars of the actress and producer ‘Insecure’ confirmed she was engaged to Diame in April 2019, shortly after Rae debuted her engagement ring on the cover of Essence magazine.
