A few days ago, new ghost hunters Director Jason Reitman shared on Twitter a photo of him, his father Ivan Reitman (who created the original). ghost hunters), and new stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard and McKenna Grace, accompanied by the caption "The family is full here." It's pretty simple and contains no old ghostbusters or ghosts, but Consequence of the sound I've figured out what seems to be a pretty obvious clue about Reitman's young film: This kid certainly looks a lot like Egon Spengler.
Glasses! Hair, maybe! The … okay, it's really just these two things, but the aforementioned legend may provide another clue. "The family is here" is most likely a reference to the appearance of both Reitman and the fact that the three actors play a family, but why we, the community of ghost hunters fans, do not care about any random family unless they are Spenglers? Consequence of the sound says the film is about "a family going home to a small town where they get to know their identity better" ambulance in a barn and some sort of ghost mystery.
Or maybe it's just a visual sign that reminds the audience of Harold Ramis. This is not so satisfying, but at least the rest of the original cast will come to some extent. In addition, Paul Rudd will be there.
