It seems that Windows 10 Home can now postpone 35-day updates

The next feature update for Windows 10, version 1903, should give Windows 10 Home users a little more flexibility in installing updates. All versions of Windows 10 allow the postponement of updates, waiting several days after the publication of each update before attempting to install it.

Currently in Windows 10 version 1809, users of Windows 10 Home are limited to a period of only seven days. In the latest preview version of Windows 10, however, this time has been increased to 35 days (via Reddit). This means that users worried about being the first to use each new update may wait a little over a month before installing it.

Although most Windows updates are not a problem for most users, problems occur from time to time. Typically, these issues are resolved a week or two after the release of the initial release. Microsoft reissues corrected versions of patches or sometimes blacklists particular hardware or software combinations that have proven problematic. The 35-day delay will almost always be enough to let people wait for these insects to be shaken.

The change does not seem to have any official confirmation, but it's evident during the new installation of a preview build and do not put the machine in the program of insiders. The reporting period for Insider computers is limited to seven days, even in the Pro and Enterprise versions of Windows. The latest versions of Windows have removed the desktop preview watermark, indicating that Microsoft is nearing the final version of 1903. So it seems very likely that this 35-day limit is here to stay.
