The Patriots routed the Dolphins on Sunday and one of the 43-0 win touchdowns was scored by the last member of the team.
Antonio Brown scored a 20-yard touchdown in the first half and was scored a total of eight times by Tom Brady in the win. He caught four passes for a total of 56 yards and got a positive review of his new quarterback when all was said and done.
"It was a good start," said Brady, via WEEI.com. "I was just trying to find an open guy, he was breaking roads and doing a good job. It was good to find it.
Brady was not the only one to have nice things to say after the game. Julian Edelman said Brown was "great" and Josh Gordon explained how quickly Brown took the lead.
"He has a great football spirit, football with an IQ," Gordon said. "The guys who are smart at football pick it up faster than others. He is one of those gifted guys in this field. He was able to come here and adapt on the fly and he continues to learn, like all of us. But it shows how much he really wants to be part of this offense, how much he really wants to contribute, and how fast he has done it. It was great to see him making this progress today. "
Brown did not talk to reporters after the match and has not answered any questions since a rape and sexual assault trial was filed against him last week. The NFL will question its accuser Monday and there is a chance that the league will act so that the good start of Sunday is a punctual affair.
