Ugly scene during the qualifying for the FIBA World Cup in Australia and Gilas Pilipinas indulge in a nasty fight.
Basketball took its place Monday during the FIBA World Cup qualifying match between Australia and Gilas Pilipinas when a mbadive fight broke out.
The fight took place with four minutes in the third quarter of the match and the Phillippines
It started when Australian Daniel Kickert attacked Philippine goalkeeper Roger Pogoy and in response Jayson Castro gave a shot of fist and former NBA mate Andray Blatche pushed an Australian player.
An NBA player, Milwaukee Bucks center Thon Maker, who was playing for Australia, was in the middle of the fight, kicking the opponents.
Players Gilas Pilipinas rushed to the ground as officials struggled to separate the players and clear the ground.
The incident comes a day after Australia said that she did not want to disrespect the Philippine basketball team after removing the stickers approved by the FIBA without authorization at the Philippine Arena in Manila.
After the fight, members of the Philippines men's basketball team were seen taking selfies.
