Aaron Gordon of Magic: re-sign with Orlando

Gordon has accepted a four-year, $ 84 million contract with Sunday's Magic, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.

Gordon was set for a big payday that came out of a better season with the Magic in 2017-18, and Orlando chose not to waste time re-signing one of the best young talents of the NBA. Gordon averaged 17.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game (the two highest career) last year and, most importantly, added a fairly consistent three-point shot to his offensive arsenal, hitting 33.6 for one hundred of his shots behind the bow. The biggest concern for Gordon as he approaches the first season of his new contract is health, since he appeared in just 58 games last season while he was healing many injuries. If Gordon can stay healthy, he is in line to make a big step forward as a marker and rebounder as a star in Magic's frontcourt.
